So Johnny’s big plan basically boils down to “SORRY DON’T BE MAD!” Remember when you were a kid, and you did something that you knew was a little bad, but that you didn’t think you’d get in THAT much trouble for? Remember the horror when you did get in trouble, and it was ALOT of trouble, like way more than you expected? Remember your parent or teacher asking firmly why you did what you did?

“I didn’t think I’d get in this much trouble.”

Okay, I’ve been pretty lazy lately, I guess the holidays kept me sorta busy. No worries though, I’m back! This chapter is finally gearing up to climax pretty soon, probably within the next 10 pages or so. I guess we’ll see. Seeya!

Oh yeah, Castlevania Rebirth came out. I like it alot. I think they should have called it Castlevania Wiibirth. Bye again!

I’m getting bad at this. I’ve been combating a terrifying computer problem for the past few days, so my head’s been elsewhere. I was honestly scared of the damn thing, I didn’t even like being in the same room as the poor sick puter. I felt like something vile was staring out at me from inside… I know that isn’t really how these things work, but there are some feelings we just can’t rationalize or ignore.

Anyway, Joe is kicking some serious something in this page. I think his sword is made of lightning, I dunno. I really felt as if I wasn’t doing the lightning effect enough lately, so I thought I should bring it back. Of course, the electricity from the Photon Blade doesn’t really count, but still…. I can’t remember what my point was, so whatever.

Our site seems to be blocking comment submissions on the previous post. After Googling around a bit, I found that this error is usually a result of automatic spam filters and occurs at the hosting company level (i.e., I can’t fix it directly). What could make comments on a post called “tentacle porn” look like spam, I wonder?

If this were a REAL manga, this scene would be going in a very different direction I think. Drawing Octopardo (he’ll be named in the actual comic soon enough, I’m sure) is one of the few things that actually makes me feel kinda like an artist, so I really enjoyed drawing these pages. Still, it didn’t take long to get sick of drawing his stupid tentacles in every panel. What a dick.

Anyway, I think I forgot to tell a joke again today, but oh well. We’ll see how Saturday goes, I guess.

Well, this is the second ever weekend color extravaganza, and I think I’m pretty happy with it. I hope looking at this vaguely Lovecraftian nightmare makes everybody feel as gross and crawley as me.
