Topic: Cartoon Network

What's with CN putting up all these live-action shows? Is it actually true that CN's moving into the pure TV show direction and away from cartoons? Man, I miss Genndy Tartakovsky's Dexter's Laboratory. The new one is really bad.

Re: Cartoon Network

I usually make it a point not to watch Cartoon Network before 10 pm. Granted, the Adult Swim block is pretty dismal as well, but whatever. There are a few good cartoons still on CN, like Flapjack, Chowder and Ben 10, and even the Secret Saturdays, but the bulk of their programming is either crap from other networks (Johnny Test is on every time I turn my goddamn tv on) or some vapid imitation of Nickelodeon style nonsense. Shows like Total Drama Island and Stoked are just stupid and make little kids into jerks, and the few live action shows I've seen were pretty awful.

It seems like Cartoon Network has sold out pretty hard, if you ask me.

Re: Cartoon Network

They were trying to compete with Nick and Disney. All the shows were massive failures in the ratings, and right now the execs are doing everything they can to avoid admitting they made a mistake.

What's the name of the word for things not being the same always. You know. I'm sure there IS one. Isn't there?
There must be a word for it... the thing that lets you know time is happening. IS there a word?
